Returns and refunds

If you buy from us as a consumer, you can cancel your order within 14 days without giving a reason, and returns are free. This page explains how. If a product is faulty, that is not a cancellation: see Warranty claims.

The 14-day cancellation period

The period ends 14 days after the day you, or a person you name (other than the carrier), receive the goods. If your order arrives in several parcels, the 14 days run from the day you receive the last one.

How to cancel

  1. Tell us before the 14 days end. Email info@techstoreeurope.com with your order number and the items you are returning, or use the model cancellation form below. Sending your message before the deadline is enough.
  2. We email you a prepaid return label. Pack the goods securely and send them back within 14 days of telling us.

Free returns

Returns are free. We pay the cost of sending the goods back to us with the prepaid label we provide. If you choose to send the parcel another way, please contact us first so we can agree the cost.

Your refund

We refund everything you paid, including the standard delivery cost, within 14 days of receiving your cancellation. If you chose a more expensive delivery option than our cheapest standard one, we refund only the cost of the standard option. We use the same payment method you used, unless you agree otherwise, and you pay no fees for the refund.

We may wait to refund until we have received the goods back, or until you show us proof that you have sent them, whichever happens first.

Condition of returned goods

You may handle a product the way you would in a shop to check what it is, how it works and whether it suits you. If it has been used beyond that and has lost value as a result, we may deduct that loss in value from the refund. Returning it in its original packaging with all accessories helps us avoid any deduction, but the packaging is not a condition of your right to cancel.

When the right to cancel does not apply

  • Sealed software, audio or video recordings that you have unsealed after delivery.
  • Products made or configured to your personal specifications.
  • Sealed goods that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed.

Business customers buying in the course of their business do not have the statutory right to cancel. Contact us if you need to return a business order and we will see what we can do.
