Warranty claims
Every product you buy from us is covered by the legal guarantee that applies across the European Union. It is free, it applies automatically, and we, as the seller, are responsible for it. You do not have to deal with the manufacturer yourself.
The legal guarantee
A product must match its description, work as you can reasonably expect, and be fit for its purpose. If it does not, you are covered for at least two years from delivery. Under Dutch law, the guarantee can last longer than that for products you can reasonably expect to last longer.
If a defect appears within one year of delivery, or a longer period where the law of your country provides for it, it is presumed to have been there at delivery, and you do not have to prove it.
What we will do
We will repair or replace the product free of charge within a reasonable time. If a repair or replacement is not possible, takes too long, or fails, or if the defect is serious, you can choose a price reduction or a full refund.
Manufacturer warranties
Some manufacturers give their own warranty on top of the legal guarantee. It is an extra, and it never replaces or limits your rights under the legal guarantee. You can choose to claim under either.
How to make a claim
- Email info@techstoreeurope.com with your order number, the product and serial number, and a short description of the fault. Photos or a short video help us resolve it faster.
- We will reply with the next steps. If the product needs to come back to us, we arrange and pay for the return of a faulty product.
- Back up any data or settings on the device before you send it.
What the guarantee does not cover
Damage caused after delivery by accidents, drops, liquid, misuse, incorrect installation or unauthorised modification, and normal wear and tear.
